Quick answers to the things people ask most. If yours isn’t here, email minhazp.builds@gmail.com and we’ll get back to you.

My recording came out jerky. What happened?

Recording captures the renderer at 24–30 fps depending on quality. On older devices, HD and 4K can drop frames because the per-tick redraw is CPU-bound. Try Standard or Smooth — they look identical on the platforms most clips end up on (Reels, Shorts, TikTok all cap at 1080p). If even Standard stutters, restart the app and try again with no other apps competing for the GPU.

A recording got cut off when a call came in (or I switched apps).

That’s by design. The app stops the recording when it goes to the background and saves whatever you had so far, as long as the clip is at least 5 seconds. Below 5 seconds it’s treated as an accidental tap and discarded.

Where do my recordings live? Do they upload anywhere?

They stay on your phone, in app-private storage. Nothing uploads. When you tap Share, the system share sheet hands the file to whichever app you pick (Messages, Photos, Instagram, etc.) — Motecraft itself never sees the upload. The Moments tab keeps the three most recent recordings; older ones evict automatically.

What does Motecraft Pro unlock?

Pro removes the watermark from your saved recordings and unlocks the higher-quality presets (HD on iOS; HD and 4K on Android, where the encoder supports it). Everything else — every experience, every ambient backdrop, every share-card option — is free.

The app says “Recording not available right now.”

That’s the device-performance precheck. It blocks new recordings when the device is in Low Power mode, when the system thermal state is “critical”, or when the battery is below ~10%. Wait for the condition to clear and try again.

How do I opt out of analytics?

Settings → Privacy → Anonymous analytics. The toggle is on by default; flipping it off stops every event Motecraft logs (no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics) immediately. The toggle is sticky across launches.

An experience is missing or behaves differently than yesterday.

The active catalog is updated server-side, so curators can pause or re-order experiences without an app update. If something you played yesterday isn’t in the list today, it’s most likely been temporarily disabled — email us and we’ll let you know what’s up.

Found a bug. How do I report it?

Email minhazp.builds@gmail.com with the device model, the OS version, the experience id (visible in the top chrome of every experience), and a short description. Screenshots help; recordings help more. We read every one.

Still stuck?

Email minhazp.builds@gmail.com with the device, OS, app version, and a short description. Replies usually land within a day or two.
